The A458 in Powys is closed for taller vehicles due to low hanging cables.
Dyfed-Powys are having to restrict access on the A458 outside Welshpool due to cables beginning to hang too low for taller vehicles to pass.
Traffic Wales have confirmed that the road between Nant-y-dugoes and Foel is currently closed to “high sided vehicles at this time”.

They added that officers from Dyfed-Powys police are on the scene but have not been able to give an estimate as to when the road will be open as normal.
In a post on social media Taffic Wales North and Mid said: “Low hanging cables. The A458 both directions between Nant-y-dugoes and Foel.
“The Road closed to high sided vehicles at this time.”
“Police on scene.”
