Police are appealing for information from the public about a woman carrying a knife in the street in Welshpool.
Dyfed-Powys Police have put out an appeal for information regarding an affray which led to a woman being arrested earlier today (March 21) in Welshpool.
According to the police officers were called to Sgwar Heulwen after receiving reports of a woman carrying a weapon in public.
They confirmed that a woman was later arrested at her home but are now appealing for more information from the public.

A spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police said: “We are appealing for information after attending an incident of affray in Welshpool this morning (Thursday, March 21).
“Officers were called to Sgwar Heulwen at 8.40am to reports of a woman carrying a knife in the street.
“The woman was found at her home address, and was arrested on suspicion of affray and possessing a bladed article in a public place.
“Enquiries are being carried out, and officers are asking anyone with information or video footage of the incident to get in touch.”
