A much-awaited Safari Supper is making its grand comeback, inviting Newtown residents and visitors alike to embark on a delightful gastronomic adventure at three independent food restaurants and cafes.

Organised as part of the Newtown Food Festival, this year's Safari Supper promises to be an extraordinary experience, celebrating the fusion of music and food in the heart of Powys’ largest town.

Foodies will need to be quick to book with only 20 available places for the mouthwatering tour of three distinctive eateries in Newtown which starts at 6.15pm on Thursday, August 3, at the iconic town clock.

A spokesperson for Newtown Food Festival said: “The concept of the Safari Supper is simple yet delightful: attendees will enjoy different courses at three handpicked restaurants and cafes, each showcasing their culinary expertise.

The feast begins at 9 Thai, a restaurant known for its authentic Thai flavours and warm ambiance. Next on the itinerary is the renowned Hummingbird restaurant, where guests will be served the main course. Finally, the delightful culinary journey concludes at Cafe Glitz, where attendees will indulge in a mouthwatering dessert and coffee to satiate their sweet cravings.
