The Newtown Outdoor Festival is gearing up to be a bigger and better celebration than ever.

With 18 guided walks for all abilities and interests to choose from theirs plenty going on at the three-day festival which kicks off on Friday, June 2, outside the Oriel Davies Gallery.

Book a free ticket to tour the historic Friends’ Meeting House, Cwrt Plas Yn Dre on Friday evening, or go on one of the two alpaca walks on Saturday. All the family can get involved with running, cycling, archery and canoe taster sessions, fly-casting demonstrations and lessons, gardening, navigation, outdoor skills and nature hunts.

OTHER NEWS

There will be long walks, challenge walks, dog walks, Welsh walks, French walks, short strolls, foraging, history, nature, accessible, singing and photography walks that leave at half hour intervals on both days so come along on the day and sign up for your favourite walk.

Meet, greet and feed the alpacas and go on one of the two alpaca walks on Saturday at 11am and 2 pm.

In the afternoon you can join a groove dance for health and wellbeing. Then dance the evening away at a ceilidh with Monty Folk on Saturday evening. Tickets £6 on Eventbrite or £7 at the door. 

On Sunday the Llanidloes Choir for Good will be giving an outdoor concert at 11.30am.
