LLANIDLOES overcame selection problems to run out emphatic 62-5 winners at Abergele in division two of the North Wales League.
Llanidloes dominated from the opening minute with tries from Rhys Owen, Stuart Jones, Jason Jehu, Sam Brittain, Ioan Jones, Rob Evans, Morgan Davies, Gareth Anwyl, Richard Pryce and Adam Gaca completing the drubbing.
Carwyn Williams weighed in with six conversions for a rampant Llanidloes.
COBRA also made the trip up to Rhyl with a depleted squad and crashed to a 47-21 defeat.
Richard Jones and Bryn Edwards both crossed the whitewash while Will Worthington converted one and added three penalties.
Elsewhere Newtown brought the curtain down on their season with a 36-11 defeat at home to Wrexham.
The North Wales side led through two early tries before Gareth Williams reduced the arrears with a penalty.
Huw Spear jinked his way over for a try before Wrexham reasserted their control.
Williams kicked another penalty after the break and despite Town enjoying spells of possession the visitors cemented victory with two late tries.
Jack Radcliffe and Nick Dodd crossed for two tries each while Owen Weston also celebrated a try with Wrexham’s tally completed by James Price with four conversions and a penalty.
