RACHEL Ferguson marked her final game in Welshpool colours with a player of the match display in a 66-7 win at Holyhead in the Game On North Wales Women’s League.
Ferguson was given the captain’s armband in her final game for the club before leaving for London.
Ferguson starred with a brace of tries while Michelle Presryszyn, Ellie Davies and Grace Johns also crossed for two tries each.
Further tries from Lottie Morris, Courtney Jones, Chloe Davies and Frey Needham completed Pool’s try count.
Johns also added two conversions with Ellie Davies steering over a further kick to complete a memorable day on the island for Poo and winning send off for Ferguson.
The match in Holyhead represented the end of the league programme with Welshpool joining league champions COBRA in now turning their attention to the end of season cup which kicks off later this month.
