A NEW sports therapy centre has opened in Tregynon.
Kaha Sports Therapy is owned and run by ex-Welshpool High School physical education teacher Julie Maguire, a sports massage therapist.
The team is completed by fellow sports message therapist Hayley Tanner and physiotherapist Larna Andrew.
The centre has a host of stars among its client list, including Welsh international marathon runner Andy Davies and shot put star Adele Nicoll.
Nature documentarian Iolo Williams has also received treatment at Kaha Sports Therapy.
Davies said: “Having Kaha Sports Therapy on the doorstep is obviously a great help with my running. Not just for injury prevention but to aid recovery too.
“The sports therapists and physiotherapists at Kaha Sports are extremely knowledgeable and very good at what they do.
“I really appreciate the help they have provided and their support in getting me in the best possible shape before heading out to Australia for the Commonwealth Games.
