DILLON Gill has been crowned Shropshire under 17s Cross Country champion.
The talented Welshpool High School student topped the four race series after a thrilling final event in Oswestry, over taking championship rival and close friend Oliver Carvell on the last lap to take the race win and championship glory.
Gill is next in action in the North Wales Championship in Corwen on January 6.
