CAERSWS made the return trip from Holyhead empty handed on Saturday.
Aron Hughes-Jones spurned an early opening before Caersws led on seven minutes with Steve Blenkinsop converting a penalty after Craig Harris was impeded.
Spurs got into the game with Alex Boss testing Caersws goalkeeper David Jones before restoring parity on half an hour through John Littlemore.
Both sides had chances with Rhydian Davies firing wide for Caersws before Jones denied Jamie McDaid and Littlemore.
Caersws started the second-half on top with Rhydian Davies, Ryan Davies and Blenkinsop testing home goalkeeper Paul Pritchard.
The hosts were awarded a dubious penalty on the hour with Littlemore converting before Clarke headed home and Ryan Davies steered Littlemore’s cross into his own net late on.
