PENRHYNCOCH took another stride toward safety by ending Holywell Town’s title bid in Bala.
Lee Davey and Mark Winslade went close for the Wellmen early on but the Roosters threatened through Liam Lewis before snatching a 37th minute lead with Nashawn Blake capitalising on a defensive lapse.
Holywell levelled with a header from Sam Jones early in the second-half but Penrhyn held their own in an even affair.
Liam Lewis headed against the woodwork while Matt Kendrick was also denied by the bar at the other end.
Penrhyn could have snatched victory only for Harri Horwood to be denied by goalkeeper Shaun Pearson late on.
