NEWTOWN Football Club face a major rebuild in the summer following the exit of four key players.
Goalkeeper Andy Wycherley departed for Walsall Wood earlier in the month while Matty Jones has followed Player of the Season Ryan Sears in trading the Robins for Caernarfon Town following the latter's qualification for Europe.
Louis Robles has also departed the club to join Bala Town for a second stint while Macauley Taylor has completed his switch to Midlands League side Shifnal Town.
Henry Cowans has also not been retained for the forthcoming season with the Midlands-based player departing for pastures new.

Manager Scott Ruscoe has retained Aaron Williams, Zeli Ismail, Jason Oswell, Dom Smith, Robbie Evans, Dylan Downs, Ollie Sharpe, Hanoch Boakye, Calvin Smith, George Hughes, Callum Roberts, Shane Sutton and Kieran Mills-Evans.
The club has also welcomed the return of forward Lifumpa Mwandwe who has committed for another season after returning from Canadians Halifax Wanderers midway through last season.
The Robins begin their pre-season at home to Shrewsbury Town U18s on July 6th before Guilsfield visit on July 9th, OJM Black Country on July 13th and Stourbridge on the 20th.
Newtown's only away friendly sees the Robins travel to Hednesford Town on July 27th before the season gets underway with a Friday night derby at home to Aberystwyth Town on August 9th.
Remarkably 11 of the Robins' opening 22 fixtures are scheduled for Friday evening while a further six are midweek fixtures.
It means Newtown fans will only have three Saturday afternoon home kick-offs from August 2024 to January 2025
