Brodie Lynch from Montgomery headed to Grantham to take part in the Pony Club Winter Triathlon Finals last weekend.
The youngster competed against the top 10 and 11 year olds from England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland having qualified for his second successive finals and once again impressed among a talented field.
The triathlon for Brodie’s age group consisted of running 1000m, shooting turning targets from 7m and swimming for two minutes.

At only 10 years old, Brodie is still one of the youngest in the age category.
He managed to improve on his result from last year, with a perfect shoot score of 1000, followed by a strong run and swim, finishing an amazing seventh overall, out of the 45 competitors who qualified.
Brodie also achieved the best shoot award at the event - his 30th almost consecutive best shoot, with the only exception being for these same finals last year when he just missed out on the award.
