BEN Davies proved the match winner as Bow Street battled to a 1-0 win at home to 10 man Llansantffraid in the Ardal North East League on Saturday.

Davies broke the deadlock with 15 minutes remaining with the Saints ending with 10 men following the late dismissal of Marc Griffiths.

Dan Hall starred with two goals as Builth Wells eased to a 5-0 win at home to Welshpool Town with Tommy Rowlands, Alex Hicks and Adam Farmer strikes completing their tally.

Dolgellau AA slumped to a surprise 2-0 defeat at lowly Rhos Aelwyd who eased their relegation fears with goals from Aled Parry and Sam Baldam.

Brecon Corries hit back for a point at 10 man Tredegar Town in the Ardal South East League on Saturday.

The hosts led with a 10th minute penalty from Ian Pettit before Owen Thomas doubled their advantage with 20 minutes remaining.

Luke Roughley reduced the arrears five minutes later with Lewis Parfitt dismissed for the hosts before Craig Evans levelled for the Corries and ensured the contest ended in a 2-2 draw.
