RADNOR Valley maintained their Ardal North East League title pursuit with a 3-1 win at home to 10 man Rhos Aelwyd on Saturday.

The Goats opened the scoring with Joey Price netting after half an hour at the Bypass before Aled Parry levelled for the visitors who were reduced to 10 men just before the break following the dismissal of Adam Peters.

Lewis Morris restored Valley's lead with 20 minutes remaining before the hosts were also reduced to 10 men with Ieuan Price dismissed with the home side settling the outcome late on with Price netting his second of the game.

Penrhyncoch continue to set a hot pace at the top of the table with Daniel Owen and Cameron Allen continuing their rich form with each netting doubles in a 5-1 win at Llansantffraid.

Phillips completed the scoring for the Roosters with the Saints reducing the arrears through Robert Carruthers.
