CARRIE Jones and Ceri Holland have been included in the Welsh squad for next month's crunch UEFA Nations League clashes.

Bristol City forward Jones hails from Newtown while Liverpool winger Holland qualifies for Wales through her Llanrhaeadr-born mother.

Both are included in Gemma Grainger's 26-player squad for a home double header in the UEFA Women’s Nations League matches against Iceland at the Cardiff City Stadium on Friday, December 1st and Germany at the Stadium on Tuesday, December 5th.

The fixtures are the final matches in Wales' inaugural UEFA Nations League campaign.

The Iceland match at the Cardiff City Stadium on December 1st is an all-to play for fixture to secure a potential play-off spot for the 2025 UEFA EURO 2025 finals while the fixture against Germany on December 5th will be the side’s first match at the Stadium since 2018.
