CAERSWS are Ardal North East League champions following a 3-2 victory at Bow Street on Saturday.

Neil Mitchell starred with two goals as the Bluebirds ensured their return to the second tier at Cae Piod.

Ex-Bluebird Rhydian Davies opened the scoring with a first minute penalty before Caersws hit back with Mitchell levelling before setting up Glyn Coney to fire their side ahead.

Ifan Burrell restored parity on the hour before Mitchell completed his double with 10 minutes remaining to ensure a night of celebration for the villagers.

Llanrhaeadr made the long trip to Builth Wells and returned 2-1 winners with goals from James Burgess and Tom Evans cancelling a reply from Lyndon Jones.

The visitors raced ahead with two goals from Darren Jarman before Sam Broadribb added a third.

Dale Evans reduced the arrears before the break with Joel Evans adding a second after the interval.

Paul Keddle saw red for the Corries before Thomas Wright earned his marching orders for Undy late on.
