CAERSWS were denied glory as Cefn Albion hit back to claim a late point as the Ardal North East League top of the table clash ended in a 1-1 draw on Saturday.

Craig Harris' 35th minute strike looked to be the golden goal for the Bluebirds before the battling Brickfield side salvaged a point with Ryan Kehoe's 85th minute penalty.

Bow Street staged a fightback to celebrate a 3-2 win at home to Builth Wells.

The visiting Bulls forged a two goal lead at the break with Lee James and Jamie Evans on target before two goals from Sion Ewart sandwiched Rhydian Davies' penalty as the Magpies toasted a fine fightback.

Llanfair United never recovered from Will Owen's early double before John Evans' 68th minute strike completed their 3-0 defeat at Llanuwchllyn.

Rhayader Town had to be content with a point in a goalless draw at Llangollen Town who ended with nine men following the dismissals of Jack Goulborn and Gwilym Keddie.

Llanrhaeadr's revival continued as Michael Barton's side celebrated a 4-2 win at home to Llandrindod Wells.

Brecon Corries slipped to a 3-1 defeat at home to 10 man Abertillery Bluebirds in the Ardal South East League.

Tom Benyon fired the visitors into a first minute lead at Rich Field before Paul Keddle mustered an immediate response for the hosts.

Kyle Williams restored the Bluebirds' lead before the hour but his side were reduced to 10 men with the dismissal of Danny Hillman soon after but the visitors went on to seal the spoils with a late strike from Christian Mbongompasi.
