Matthews completed his double at the death to complete their victory and maintain Guilsfield's unbeaten start to the league season.

Elsewhere Penrhyncoch made light work of Llangefni Town and returned from Anglesey 5-1 winners.

Connor Bird netted twice for the Daffodils with Dafydd Carruthers also on target while Borough reduced the arrears late on through Nathan Williams.

Elsewhere Llanrhaeadr fell to a 3-1 home defeat at the hands of Llandudno.

Morgan Owen gave the Seasiders a dream start with an opening minute strike before Shaun Cavanagh doubled the advantage before the break.
