Bishop’s Castle 157-8 beat Cae Glas 134 all out by 23 runs
JACK Perry starred with bat and ball in Bishop’s Castle’s 23 run win at home to Cae Glas in division four of the Henshalls Shropshire League.
Perry (40no) and Richard Corfield (36) top scored with support from Tom Moulder (23) helping Castle to 157-8 to defend.
Matthew Coulson (3-36) was supported by Nick Broadbent (2-14) and Shaun Southern (2-34) in claiming wickets for Glas.
Ben Hipkiss (56) and Peter Bowyer (42) led Glas’ reply but Perry (6-24) and Moulder (2-19) tore through the Glas order to complete their demise for 134.
