Alberbury 208-8 lost to Bridgnorth IIs 209-2 by three wickets
ALBERBURY'S season of struggle continued with a three wicket defeat at home to Bridgnorth IIs in the Henshalls Shropshire League.
Sam Morris (51) and Mark Jones (49) led the home middle order with support from Daniel Leach (30) and Michael Crawshaw (28) guiding Alberbury to 208-8.
Cameron Wallis (3-47), Ross Hurdley (2-25) and Daniel Rodenhurst (2-32) claimed wickets for the visitors.
Sam Morris (3-51) and Steve Morris (2-50) led Alberbury's attack in reply.
Howver Alex Yarnley (48) worked the scoreboard before Matthew Martin (45no) and Hurdley (51no) combined in an unbroken seventh wicket stand to guide their side to 209-7 and victory.
