People planning to attend a skateboarding event this weekend have been warned by police not to camp in the Elan Valley.
Radnorshire police officers said they are aware that the event involves camping in the mid Wales beauty spot and have urged people to use local campsites.
Wild camping is generally illegal in Wales and England without the permission of the landowner.
Police tweeted: "We are aware of a Skateboarding event being planned this weekend which involves camping in the Elan Valley.
"While we encourage visitors to the area camping in any form is not allowed in the Elan Valley. There are a number of camp sites in the area."
