BUILTH Wells Running Club’s very own Donna Morris came second in the women’s race at Pembrey Country Park on Saturday.
Morris crossed the line with a fantastic time of 17.41, just behind international athlete Alaw Beynon-Thomas in 17.14.
Meanwhile Builth and District Running Club held their annual meeting at the Greyhound Inn in the town.
Christian Prynne has remained as chairman and Nicola Kelly has filled the role of club president.
The club is delighted to have on board new committee members Kate Jones as treasurer and Melanie Ross as secretary as well as Jo Jones as female welfare officer.
