TNS have parted company with Jamie Mullan who has signed for JD Cymru Premier champions Connah's Quay Nomads.

The 33-year-old follows the trail of former Park Hall star Aeron Edwards who also traded the border club for the Deesiders last summer.

Mullan has spent the last eight years in the Cymru Premier at TNS, and prior to his time at the Shropshire-based club, Mullan spent time at Alfreton, Stalybridge and Fleetwood, as well as time at Northwich Victoria under Andy Morrison.

Mullan has been voted in the Cymru Premier Team of the Season on multiple occasions during his time in the league and was also voted as the League's Player of the Season in the 2017/18 campaign.

Morrison said: "I've worked with Jamie before, so I know what he brings to the table - for me, he is still the best winger in the league.

"Our training methods, sports science and demands will mean, like those before him, he will improve and have many successful years ahead of him.

"It's difficult to find footballers who improve your squad - at Connah's Quay, we have shown so many times that an experienced player with a point to prove is a fantastic addition."

Mullan will join up with the rest of the squad when they return to training on Tuesday, June 8.
