CERI Holland helped Wales earn a 1-1 draw against Denmark on Tuesday night.

The Yorkshire born Liverpool star qualifies for Wales through her Llanfyllin raised mother.

Holland started at the Cardiff City Stadium while fellow mid Wales stars Carrie Jones and Maria Francis-Jones were on the bench.

Denmark took the lead midway through the first half when Pernille Harder raced clear and finished calmly.

Holland fired wide as Wales looked to get back in the game while Angharad James also went close

However Wales equalised when Jess Fishlock volleyed home on the hour to cap a fine team move

Neither side could find a winner in a friendly that was competitive and entertaining throughout.

Wales’ preparations are now geared towards World Cup qualifying later this year, with the draw set to take place on April 30 but they will take heart from looking so impressive against a team ranked 14th in the world.
