NEWTOWN Football Club is known across Wales as founder members of the JD Cymru Premier.
As well as being one of the oldest football clubs in the country, the Robins can boast among the best facilities in the league with Latham Park, their home since 1951, regularly hosting cup finals and European football.
In 2014 it underwent its greatest upgrade in two decades with the installation of a 3G surface.
Throughout the decades the club has always been successful, winning a host of local league and cup titles, while also adding the Welsh Amateur Cup in 1955 to the Welsh Cup won in 1895.
The County Times has looked back at past Newtown teams with pictures from the Keith Harding Collection available through the Welsh Football Data Archive.
Mr Harding was chairman of Newtown Football Club when Latham Park underwent great improvements during the 90s and at the helm when the Robins first qualified for Europe in 1996.
Take a step back through the ages of Newtown Football Club which also offer an insight into changing football kit and boot styles during the eras.
