CARRIE Jones and Maria Francis-Jones have been included in the Welsh squad for the forthcoming UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 qualifying round matches.
Wales host the Faroe Islands at Newport County's Rodney Parade on October 22 and then welcome Norway to the Cardiff City Stadium on October 27.
Manager Jayne Ludlow has named a 26 strong squad, including the mid Wales duo.
Former Newtown and Llanfair Caereinion High School student Jones joined Manchester United in the summer while former club-mate Francis-Jones of Llanidloes is currently part of the Cardiff City squad,
The nine group winners and the three best runners-up, not counting results against the sixth-placed team, qualify directly for the final tournament, while the remaining six runners-up advance to the play-offs.
