RAMPANT TNS proved a different class as new boys Flint Town United were taught a harsh lesson of life in the JD Cymru Premier.
Greg Draper starred with five goals to become the Saints' all time top scorer as TNS laid down a title marker.
Louis Robles tested Flint goalkeeper Jon Danby in the opening five minutes and the pressure continued to build.
On 17 minutes the deadlock was broken with Robles brought down in the area by Danby for Greg Draper to slot home from the penalty spot.
TNS doubled their lead on 33 minutes with Adrian Cieslewicz feeding Jon Routledge to break into the area and fire beyond Danby.
Ryan Harrington fired wide from close range before Draper added his second of the afternoon after Robles' shot was blocked to celebrate his 153rd goal for the club.
Danby denied Draper as the Saints maintained their dominance after the break but Draper was not to be denied and completed his hat-trick soon after to become the club's all time top scorer.
Harrington skipped through the beleaguered Flint defence to slot past and advancing Danby for his side's fifth on 64 minutes.
Two minutes later Draper celebrated his fourth of the day with a cool finish from Jamie Mullan's cross.
TNS continued to dominate and added a seventh with 15 minutes remaining with Robles heading home Mullan's cross.
Five minutes later Robles turned provider to release Routledge for his second of the afternoon.
Draper netted his fifth after more good work by Robles with five minutes remaining and Kwame Boateng completed the rout in stoppage time.
