Welshpool IIs 53-2 beat Knockin IIs 52 all out by eight wickets
CHAMPIONS Welshpool IIs strolled to an emphatic home win over Knockin IIs to bring their league campaign to a close.
Sam Cadwallader (4-7) and Harry Bowen (3-7) starred with the ball with Adam Gannon (2-10) and Dan Cadwallader (1-21) completing Knockin's skittling for 52.
Gary Darlington (12) and Liam Kirk (14no) top scored for the visitors.
Pieter Van Jaarsveld (19) and Mat Sherwood (18) combined to bring Pool to within sight of glory in reply.
Dan Pritchard (11no) and Ryan Preston (0no) formed an unbroken third wicket stand to clinch victory in the ninth over.
