Welshpool 59-0 beat Guilsfield 58 all out by 10 wickets

ROB Anderson took five wickets as Welshpool outclassed Guilsfield at the Community Centre Ground.

Mat McWhinnie (2-7) set the tone as Garry Lewis and Gary Griffiths fell for ducks.

Martin Owen looked to pin together the innings only for Rupert Shingler to be caught by McWhinnie off Anderson for six who added Owen to his haul for a top scoring 21.

Sam Cadwallader (2-11) maintained the pressure on the middle order as Dave Lewis (5) and Jordan Evans departed for a duck while Anderson (5-20) swept through the tail end before Dan Pritchard ran out Dan Brown for 16 to complete Guilsfield's skittling for 58.

Welshpool secured victory inside nine overs in reply as Lance Parkes (34no) and Nick Davies (13no) carried their bats in an unbroken first wicket stand.
