NIALL Thomas has departed Ardal North East League side Berriew ahead of the new season.
The midfielder enjoyed a fine campaign at Talbot Field, scoring 11 goals in 20 appearances before the MMP-NL Mid Wales League season was cancelled.
With no end in sight on current restrictions on sport in Wales due to the ongoing pandemic and lockdown regulations the midfielder has joined Ellesmere Rangers of the North West Counties First Division.
