Llanidloes 55-8 beat Welshpool 53 all out by two wickets
LLANIDLOES stunned league leaders Welshpool with a two wicket win in the Wales and West League.
Harry Turner and Ryan Jones shared the limelight for the home side with both celebrating three wickets to complete Pool's skittling for 53.
Adrian Foulkes (2-11) maintained his own fine form while Eogan Jones (1-3) and Russell Swallow (1-16) also claimed wickets.
Only Sam Cadwallader (10) managed double figures for a stunned Pool who limped to a paltry 53 to defend.
However Llanidloes also struggled with the bat as Mat McWhinnie (2-9) and Robert Anderson (2-11) tore through the home top order.
Patrick Davies (2-17) and Joe Cadwallader (1-9) maintained the pressure with Lewis Swallow (9) and Dave Moody (9) top scoring for the hosts.
It was left to Eogan Jones (4no) to guide Llanidloes to 55-8 and a two wicket win in the 33rd over.
