TYWYN Brynrug have thrown down the title gauntlet ahead of the new MMP-NL Mid Wales League West season with two major signings.
The Cormorants have welcomed defender Paul Grant and forward Ben Holt back to the club with both having previous experience with the Gwynedd club.
Grant returns to his hometown club from Ardal North East League side Caersws with a club spokesman saying: "Paul has decided on a new challenge and he will be a massive asset on and off the pitch.
Holt returns to the club from Ardal North East side Penparcau.
A club spokesman said: "Ben has a track record of scoring at this level and he will be looking to replicate that this season."
The Cormorants have also signed youngster Iwan Richards from junior football.
