Bishop's Castle 84 all out beat Montgomery 63 all out by 21 runs
BISHOP'S Castle defied the odds to prevail 63 run winners at Montgomery IIs.
Tom Moulder (21) top scored with support from Jonathan Price (10) and Josh Mills (15) helping Castle post just 84 to defend.
David Jones (4-9), William Kinsey (3-18) and Joe Haycock (2-14) led the Monty attack.
Despite chasing such a meagre target the home side struggled with the bat with only Brian Corfield (16) and Dave Jones (14) managing double figures.
Moulder (3-21) was joined by Simon Palmer (2-7) and Caitlin Perry (2-11) in leading Castle's attack with Simon Green (1-27) and Alfie Green (1-9) completing Monty's demise for 63 in the 30th over.
