Llanidloes 152-5 beat Guilsfield 117 all out by 35 runs
GERAINT Evans starred as Llanidloes strolled to a 35 run win at Guilsfield.
Captain Andrew Jones (16) was joined by Daniel Lewis (15) for the second wicket with Daniel Brown (1-14), Allan Harris (1-12) and Allan Williams (1-21) restricting the visitors.
However Evans (57) and Dave Moody (27) let loose as the middle order impressed.
Rhodri Davies (2-26) eventually removed both with Gerrard Owen (12no) pushing Llanidloes to 152-5 to defend.
Harry Turner (3-12) had Guilsfield on the ropes from the off in reply.
David Williams sought to revive the Guils order but wickets continued to fall cheaply as Russell Swallow (2-31) led the Llani attack.
Lewis finally celebrated the wicket of Williams for a top scoring 46 to complete his 2-22.
Harris looked to inspire the tail end but his departure to Ryan Jones (1-27) for 30 represented the end of the Guils challenge for 117.
