THE five time Welsh Cup winners can lay claim to being the most distinguished club in the new third division.

As well as winning the Welsh Cup in 1887, 1888, 1890, 1892 and 1894 the Wrexham area club also win the Welsh Amateur Cup in 1958, 1960 and 1963.

While the glory days are long behind them the former club of Welsh international star Billy Meredith join the new third division with the aim of competing having won the Welsh Trophy as recently as 2017.
