TREWERN Football Club have announced their end of season award winners.

Barry Haralambous was named manager’s player of the season and top scorer with Chris Lewis winning the fans player of the year accolade.

Joe Beddoes won the most man of the match awards while Rhys Pain was most improved with Jack Cooper named young player of the season.

A club spokesman said: “We thank everyone who has stuck with and supported the club during the season.

“We cannot thank people enough for their support and generosity as our club could never run without this help.

“If there is anything the club and players can do to help during these times we are happy to help.”

The club also paid tribute to Welshpool’s Westwood Inn, photographer Ian Francis and club officials Keith Beddoes, Jo Blackburn and the club’s kit management team.

“Special mention to Titch and Diane at the Westwood who are happy to feed the lads after every home game and allow us to use the pub for fundraisers and sponsoring our kit.

“The Westwood is the home of the Tigers.

“We know it must be difficult at the moment but look forward to back and celebrating the re-opening later in the year.”
