SEVERAL Powys based crews took part in the 2020 Jaspers Bakeries AGBO Stages Rally at Weston Park in Shropshire.
The event was won by Lee Edwards and Mike Roberts of the Welsh Border Car Club in a Ford Escort G3.
Newtown’s Dan Humphreys and Dylan Andrew led Powys interest with the pair ending 14th in a Ford Escort.
Brecon’s Jonathan Davies and Daniel James ended 22nd oin a Darrian T9 while Newtown’s Alun and Kat Horn ended 23rd in a Ford Fiesta.
Newtown’s John Tomley co-drove Stephen Cross to 30th in a Vauxhall Chevette.
Geoffrey Harper and Neil Murphy completed the lost of Mid Wales finishers with the Epynt crew ending 56th in an MG ZR.
Newtown club co-driver Clive Jones joined Steve Hopewell in a Ford Escort in failing to finish.
Meanwhile Brecon’s Christian Prynne and Steve McPhee of Aberystwyth failed to finish in a Peugeot 205 as well as Knighton’s Simon Naughton and Hagley co-driver Gareth Thomas in an MG ZR.
