LLANRHAEADR handed Flint Town United a fright before falling to defeat in Deeside.
The villagers began brightly with Iain Edmunds’ free-kick curling wide before Iwan Matthews forced Flint goalkeeper Aaron Jones into action.
Flint led against the run of play on 37 minutes with Alex Titchiner releasing Mark Cadwallader to slot past debutant goalkeeper Ryan Woods.
Woods denied Cadwallader his second on the hour while Matty Williams tested Jones at the other end.
Flint doubled their lead with five minutes remaining with Brandon Burrows squaring for Jaques Welsh to net before Williams reduced the arrears for Llanrhaeadr at the death.
