Berriew
Brecon Corinthians 0
MARC Jones held his nerve with two penalties as Berriew ended Brecon Corinthians' unbeaten record.
The Corries arrived at Talbot Field unbeaten in 28 games but were struggled to make an impact as the Rhiewsiders began with intent.
Harry Watkins tested Corries goalkeeper Brian Keddle before the visiting No1 toppled Jones in the area with the veteran converting the resulting spot-kick.
Niall Thomas and Andy Evans spurned openings early in the second-half before Watkins doubled the lead.
With 10 minutes remaining Keddle clattered Will Gittins to earn his marching orders with Jones completing his tally from the spot.
Berriew ended strongly with Xavier Matisse striking the woodwork and Steff Rogers firing wide at the death.
