CARNO and Montgomery Town go head to head at Ty Brith in MMP-NL Mid Wales League One on Saturday.

Manager Gary Jones labelled the match “must win.”

“It is a must win game for us as we look to climb away from the bottom of the table," said Jones.

Monty manager Luke Williams expected a tough afternoon.

“Carno is always a very tough game and having a month without a game will make this even more of a task. Hopefully the weather is kind and we can get back to playing.”

Caersws welcome Radnor Valley to the Recreation Ground having completed a remarkable clean up operation.

The club was among the worst hit by the February storms but volunteers have helped ensure the weekend clash will go ahead.

Player coach Gareth Jones said: “The squad is looking forward to returning to action and repaying all those who have worked tirelessly behind the scenes following on from the weather.

“Over the past two seasons a healthy competitive rivalry has formed between us and Radnor and one thing for sure is that goals are guaranteed.

“From our perspective we’re looking to make sure we continue in the manner of not conceding and killing games off as per our last two fixtures at home before the adverse weather. “

Four Crosses travel to Bow Street with manager Michael Barton hoping improved performances will yield points.

“It will be a tough game against a well organised team,” said Barton. “We have improved over the last few games so need to start picking up points.”

Jordan Gerrard, Kyle Wilson, Charlie Davies and Cameron Hughes return to contention for Crosses with Tom Evans unavailable.

Meanwhile Bow Street will look to get their season back on track following a month of disruption.

A spokesman said: "The first team will be looking to replicate the reverse result earlier in the season.

"The reverse fixture was a tough game with plenty of goals. Also, will be hoping for some good fortune with the weather as we’ve not played for a few weeks."

Llandrindod Wells host Tywyn Bryncrug while Aberaeron make the trek to Llansantffraid.

An Aeron spokesman said: “It is an important game but we are confident after our win in Radnor last time out.”
