NEWTOWN bid to get their season back on track at Caernarfon Town tonight.

The Robins’ bright start to the second phase of the JD Cymru Premier season has stalled while last weekend the club crashed out of the Welsh Cup following a 6-1 annihilation at TNS.

Newtown make the trip to Caernarfon who booked their own place in the semi-finals of the JD Welsh Cup last week with a 4-0 thrashing of Cefn Druids.

Former Latham Park youngster Jamie Breese will once again be among the Canaries attack.

Newtown face a stern test against their closest league rivals with the North Wales side level on points but with a game in hand as both clubs strive to seal a place in the end of season Europa League play-offs.

Meanwhile Newtown are also in action in the semi-finals Welsh Youth Cup on Sunday.

The young Robins travel to Oswestry to take on Chirk AAA at Park Hall, home of TNS Football Club, with a 2pm kick off.

In the other semi-final TNS travel to Aberystwyth Town’s Park Avenue to face Barry Town United with a 2pm kick-off.
