NEWBRIDGE welcome Penparcau to Penbont Field in a crunch MMP-NL Mid Wales League Two clash on Saturday.

The hosts welcome back Ryan Powell, Fin Duncan-McKane and Jake Bufton but remain without Matt Meredith and Aled Powell.

Manager Scott Davies said: “We expect a very tough game against a strong Penparcau team who have already beaten us once this season.

“It was a shame the game last weekend was off due as boys were bouncing after Mach game but we’ll take real belief that we can beat anyone into every game now.

Penparcau make the trip aware the outcome with have an impact on the title race.

A spokesman said: “It is a big game for us and the next two games are massive so are going to have to treat them as cup finals.

“Newbridge is a tough place to go and we know what they are capable of but hopefully we can get the three points.”

Forden United entertain Dolgellau with manager Jonny Roberts keen for his side to build on their league cup win at Machynlleth last week.

Dolgellau also arrive with much to play for with manager Merfyn Burrough saying: “We are looking to extend the unbeaten run for a chance of automatic promotion.”

Meanwhile Rhayader Town host Machynlleth with manager Dai Davies delighted by the prospect.

“We’re doing all we can to get this game on and relish the chance to play Machynlleth.

“The last two seasons have produced some really tight games and we are looking for a big performance against one of the top teams in the league.

“It will be a big test but we’re confident in our abilities and we will be preparing right for the game.

“We have a full squad available to pick from so some tough decisions to pick a starting eleven.”
