LLANIDLOES Town renew rivalries with Four Crosses in MMP-NL Mid Wales League One on Saturday.

The sides only met a fortnight ago when the Daffodils maintained their relentless pursuit of the title.

Spokesman Rob Hughes said: “We rode our luck in the reverse fixture and had Crosses been more clinical we would have been a few goals down.

“We will strive to get a grip of the game early on this time.”

Meanwhile Hughes insisted talk of the title remained off the table at Victoria Avenue.

Hughes said: “We’re not interested in what’s happening around us for other teams, we just want to focus on our jobs and our matches each game at a time, whether that be league matches or cup ties.”

Crosses manager Michael Barton returns to the club he managed in the JD Cymru North before their relegation.

“We saw enough in the first game that we can get something though it will be a tough test and we will need to be at our best,” said Barton.

Midfielder James Gregory-Cork has completed his signing from English North West Counties minnows St Martins having previous experience at TNS.

Meanwhile Carno will also look to unveil new signing Sean Griffiths at Llandrindod Wells.

The striker arrives from Montgomery Town and boosts the depleted Greens.

Manager Gary Jones said: “It will be a good test of our squad depth against a good goal scoring side.”

Berriew travel to Tywyn Bryncrug with new signing Jake O’Donnell set for his debut after signing from Forden United.

Manager Dave Jones said: “Tywyn away is a tricky game, especially this time of year when you’d expect it to be wet and windy.

“However we have had a good record there in recent years and will be looking to continue that and get a big three points to keep us in touch with the teams above us.

Kerry host Builth Wells with manager Alex Cookson keen for his side to get their season back on track.

“We felt like we have had a poor January so looking to put that right with only a few games left,” said Cookson. “We are hoping for a positive end to the season.”

Montgomery Town welcome Aberaeron with manager Luke Williams expecting a battle.

“Aberaeron is always an extremely hard game, they are very physical and experienced in this league.

“I’m expecting a very tough game but it is one the lads are looking forward to.”

Elsewhere Welshpool Town host Caersws and Llansantffraid entertain Radnor Valley.
