ELFYN Evans has become the first British driver to win the Sweden stage of the World Rally Championship (WRC).
The Dolgellau star was joined by co-driver Scott Martin in leading the four day event from start to finish in only their second rally with Toyota.
Defending WRC champion Ott Tanak ended second with Kalle Rovanpera completing the podium.
Evans now leads the championship after two rounds.
Rally Sweden is Evans' second career victory having won the Wales Rally GB in 2017.
Evans said: "Fantastic result after a great weekend. The team have been great, gave us what we needed and it’s a pleasure working with them.
"I am really pleased for Scott Martin on his first win, a great job by everyone this weekend."
