BORTH United Football Club have pulled off a transfer coup with the signing of Mahad Ahmed.
The 26 year old Swedish born midfielder joins the MMP-NL Mid Wales League Two club from Milan University having previously represented Karlskrona in Sweden.
A club statement hailed the signing of Ahmed.
"We are really pleased to add Mahad to the squad. He has been training with us for a month now and has really impressed in training.
"We know a couple of other local clubs were looking at him. Mahad can play anywhere in midfield and he’s got bags of ability.
"Mahad previously played for Milan University at a decent standard when he studied in Italy and now lives and works in Aberystwyth which is perfect for all parties.
"We are all looking forward to seeing him in action."
