THE majority of the Mid Wales sporting programme has fallen to the weather.

Newtown's clash at home to Barry Town United in the JD Cymru Premier was postponed on Friday night along with the JD Cymru North clashes between Porthmadog and Llanrhaeadr, Rhyl and Guilsfield and Colwyn Bay and Penrhyncoch.

Llanfair United's clash at Conwy Borough also fell foul on Saturday morning.

Meanwhile the MMP-NL Mid Wales League One and Two programmes, along with the JT Hughes Montgomeryshire League and Watson Financial Mid Wales League South also fell foul of the weather.

The Cambrian Tyres Aberystwyth League programme was also all but wiped out with only the division one match between Padarn United and Aberystwyth University Reserves surviving.

The Emrys Morgan Cup quarter-final line-up was also wiped out.

Meanwhile the rugby programme was also a wash-out, including Builth Wells' clash at Maesteg Celtic and the North Wales League One match between COBRA and Bala.

The second division schedule, including Newtown's meeting with Abergele and Welshpool's fixture with Nant Conwy IIs were also victims of the weather.

The North Wales Women's Hockey League matches between Newtown and Ardudwy and Llanfair Caereinion and Bangor University were also wiped out by the weather.
