NEWBRIDGE entertain Machynlleth in the MMP-NL Mid Wales League Two match of the day.

Bridge are without Ryan Powell, Jake Bufton, Fin Duncan-McKane and Lyndon Jones but hand Jack Cook his debut after signing from Hay St Marys.

Bridge manager Scott Davies said: “We are in a good position in the table but if we want promotion then these are the games we have to win.”

Machynlleth manager Luke Vince-Holt said: “This is the start of a big month. We are looking forward to the game with both sides playing well.”

Dolgellau entertain Dyffryn Banw with the hosts without captain Jon Sutton.

Manager Merfyn Burrough said: “We are taking a game at a time and aiming to maintain momentum.”

Banw manager Awi Williams expected a tight game at Cae Marian.

"The games against us and Dolgellau have always been close encounters and it is always a difficult place to go get some points.

"We will look to go there and try and put a good performance following a very stop-start few weeks due to weather conditions which isn't helping our form.

"It will be good to have a run of games to get back to match sharpness."

Churchstoke manager Chris Haycock hopes this weekend’s trip to Borth United will be the weekend his side kickstart their season.

Haycock said: “We are very close to turning these close defeats into wins. Hopefully it will happen this weekend.

“We have a few lads unavailable so it will be an opportunity for others to step up.”

Borth United remain weakened but hope to welcome Dion Ellis-Clark and Iolo ap Dafydd back to contention soon.

A spokesman said: "We were disappointed to lose against Waterloo and last week we travelled with nine first teamers so the boys are looking to bounce back.

"We grinded out a win against Churchstoke in the new year and know they are a determined group but we will be looking to take all three points."

Abermule welcome Waterloo Rovers with manager Stuart Emberton backing his side to cause a shock.

Emberton said: “Last week was a much needed three points and we know we will to improve and be at our best against Waterloo.”

Waterloo bid to pick themselves up after last week's Central Wales Cup thrashing at home to Guilsfield.

Spokesman Dave Proctor said: "We expect a tough test against Abermule. We’re hoping to put last weeks disappointing cup result behind us and continue our good league form."

Elsewhere Rhayader Town host Knighton Town while Penparcau entertain Forden United with Aberystwyth University welcoming Presteigne to the Vicarage.
