FOUR Crosses and Llanidloes Town meet at Foxen Manor in MMP-NL Mid Wales League One on Saturday.

The hosts will unveil new signing Lewis Jones following the centre forward’s arrival from St Martins with manager Mike Barton demanding improvement as his former club arrive.

Barton said: “We have to defend better as a team if we are to get anything from this game and those going forward.”

Llanidloes make the trip to the border aiming to remain focused on their title dream.

Spokesman Rob Hughes said: “We play Crosses three times in as many weeks and we need to keep our eyes firmly on the ball.

“The lads know their jobs and what is expected of them in a Daffs shirt and it’s all about everyone keeping a level head at this stage of the season.”

Elsewhere Montgomery Town entertain Bow Street with manager Luke Williams expecting a tough game.

Williams said: “Bow Street showed us a few weeks ago they are a top team so we are expecting another difficult game but we will enter the game with the objective of winning.”

Carno host inform Llandrindod Wells with manager Gary Jones confident of his side holding their own.

“It will be a tough game as Llandrindod are doing well in the league but we will look to build on last week’s positive result.”

Elsewhere Caersws host Llansantffraid while Tywyn Bryncrug entertain Builth Wells.

Builth Wells manager Dylan McPhee has selection worries with Lee James, Tom Bethhell, Jack Hammond, Sean Powell and Sam Williams out while Richie Powell and Jonny Samuel return.

McPhee said: "We are looking to strengthen the squad but will only bring players in that will improve the team as we have picked up a few injuries and have plenty of games to go.

"Tywyn is never an easy place to go as tight pitch and always windy and this weekend looks worse with a storm forecast.

"The boys were terrific last weekend against Montgomery who proved to be strong opposition. We look to continue our good run but will have to be at our best to get a result."
