Guilsfield 3 Llandudno 2

GUILSFIELD completed a memorable second-half fightback to stun Llandudno and climb to third in JD Cymru North.

The home side were forced to do things the hard way after Danny Hughes fired the Seasiders into a 14th minute lead.

Goalkeeper Mike Jones was forced into action to deny Jacob Farleigh six minutes later as the Guils continued to struggle.

Farleigh spurned another opening before the visitors doubled their lead just before the break with Dean Seagar heading home.

Robbie James cleared off his line to deny Farleigh as Guilsfield survived a let off on the hour.

The introduction of Steve Blenkinsop sparked the Guils into life with the substitute turning home Callum Bromley's cross to halve the deficit with 15 minutes remaining.

Two minutes later Chris Cathrall's shot deflected off Blenkinsop and looped over goalkeeper Shaun Pearson as Guilsfield drew level.

Guilsfield laid siege with Bromley's goalbound header cleared off the line but from the resulting corner Adam Jenkins scrambled home the winner to complete a thrilling fightback.

GUILSFIELD: Jones, Bromley, Richards, Rogers, Lloyd, James, Cook, Harries (Parry 87), Jenkins, Cilfton (Blenkinsop 62), Cathrall. Subs: Andrew, Francis, Mansell.
