TNS extended their lead at the top of the JD Cymru Premier to four points with a 2-1 win at home to Connahs Quay Nomads.

TNS legend Mike Wilde headed home Callum Roberts' cross to give Nomads the lead after 15 minutes only for Callum Morris to put through his own net quarter of an hour later to restore parity.

TNS led with 20 minutes remaining with Simon Spender converting Adrian Cieslewicz' cross as TNS strengthened their grip at the summit.

Meanwhile Newtown booked their place in the championship conference with a goalless draw at home to Airbus UK Broughton.

Both sides had their moments with Craig Williams' 25th minute rasping effort pushed onto the bar by former Newtown goalkeeper Dave Roberts while the Robins resisted late pressure from the Wingmakers to hold out for a point.

LLANFAIR United endured a day to forget at Belle Vue as Rhyl ran out 7-1 winners.

Aaron Hassall fired the hosts into a 24th minute lead before Ben Nash headed home a second six minutes later.

Ryan McVeagh rattled the bar for Llanfair while visiting goalkeeper Mark Richards kept Rhyl at bay at the other end.

Nash headed a second after the break only for Paul Griffiths to reduce the arrears for United.

Tom Weir struck to restore Rhyl's cushion before Tom Creamer completed a quickfire hat-trick to seal an emphatic victory for the Seasiders.

Meanwhile Penrhyncoch slipped to a 2-1 defeat at Gresford Athletic with Joe Chaplin netting a late winner after the Roosters cancelled out Jordan MacArtur's opener.

Guilsfield's clash at Corwen and Llanrhaeadr's trip to Conwy Borough were both victims of the weekend weather.

LLANIDLOES Town maintained their pace at the top with a 2-1 win at home to Welshpool Town.

George Clarke and Gareth Owen goals proved just enough for the Daffodils while former Victoria Avenue favourite Will Thomas reduced the arrears for the Lilywhites.

Meanwhile a Mattie Davies double earned Aberaeron the spoils in a 4-3 win at home to Kerry with Gareth Severs and Ianto ap Dafydd goals sealing the points.

Bow Street returned from Berriew 3-2 winners with goals from Llyr Davies, Josh Crowl and Steffan Richards cancelling replies from Joe Haycock and Steffan Rogers.

Builth Wells proved too strong for Carno with Danny Ives and Greg Preece doubles and Josh Price on target in an emphatic win.

Radnor Valley prevailed 3-1 winners at Four Crosses with Gaz Jones netting the home side's consolation.

Jack Evans, Matty Tong and Ryan Sims struck as Llandrindod Wells earned a 3-1 win at home to Caersws who replied through Elliot Jones.

OWAIN Williams led the way with two goals as Dolgellau claimed a 3-0 win at Abermule with Charlie Owen settling the outcome.

Elsewhere Penparcau prevailed 4-3 winners at Rhayader Town to maintain their title bid while Borth United battled to a 1-0 win at much improved Knighton Town.

Newbridge proved too strong for Aberystwyth University with Sion Herman and Aeron Powell doubles and goals from Jake Bufton and Lyndon Jones completing a 6-0 win over Aberystwyth University.

Machynlleth maintained their own title bid with Callum Page and Jac Petrie on target in a 2-0 win over Forden United.

Tom Ellis' hat-trick inspired Waterloo Rovers to a 6-3 win at home to Presteigne with a Luke Evans double and Andrew Gwilt goal completing the tally while Churchstoke's clash with Dyffryn Banw was postponed.

JORDAN Dean struck twice as Trefonen earned a 2-0 win at Llangedwyn in the only first division match of the day to survive the weather

Meanwhile Caersws Reserves eased to a 5-0 win at home to Waterloo Rovers Reserves in division two with Conrad Galloway leading the way with a hat-trick while Francis Barr struck twice.

Elsewhere Newtown Wanderers proved too strong for Welshpool Town Reserves at Latham Park with Tom Burlinson netting twice in a 6-2 win.

Dave Ash, Alex Wilson, Nathan Hughes and Huw Roberts completed the scoring while Adam Gannon and Liam Pickstock hit back for the young Lilywhites.
